Poster: 3 kids, 2 bedrooms - any ideas how to share? OP: so tired of mothers of 3! Own your choices! why did you have another if they need to share! The kids are suffering!!!!!
Bingo.
Huh? You guys are super triggered and crazy.
Nope. This is exactly what OP did, only with a different issue (pool).
The OP didn’t say anything about pool lady specifically, but rather bright up the issue of disorganized parents who blame their issues on large families. Sharing rooms is not objectively a bad thing. The examples in this thread (cut from teams, missing school events and projects because the parents “missed the emails,” etc.) are legit. Nowhere does it imply this is true for all large families. If it’s not for yours, great. You guys are so defensive - against things that weren’t even said! It’s nuts.
The actual original post from this thread: "s/o from the pool life thread. But it extends everywhere. You had three kids by choice. You knew what the repercussions would be for your kids and yourselves. Not as many activities, harder in public places in the younger years etc. You can’t make the defining soccer game because one parent has to travel and you don’t arrange backup? Then don’t sign up for the team, and don’t complain when the coach only selects the “committed” players to move up. It’s your kids that are suffering. Either manage it or don’t but stop complaining about your own choices. Rant over." Bolded added to emphasize the hostile, unwarranted response to a woman asking a simple questions about logistics.
