Ah, I knew this guy would chime in.  SP is farther from Deal/Wilson, has fewer amenities, and until recent years, was on the "wrong" side of town (which I think is what he's alluding to).  However, while prices are still lower than WOTP, there's been pretty healthy appreciation recently, which will likely continue when Walter Reed comes fully online in the next few years.[/quote]

Eh, I prefer the “amenities” in SP over CC any day of the week. Even if it means crossing the line to SS or Takoma. Agree, after Shepherd Rec center is built next year and Walter Reed, the “amenities” will be even better than most WOTP. [/quote]

Also, I seem to recall discussions about an outdoor pool at Walter Reed--does anyone know whether that's a done deal yet, or whether it's just on the table?
