You don't tell someone where your child goes to school and have them reply "oh, that's too bad" unless they're an a-hole.[b] More common is, "oh...do you like it?" (with a tone of, how can you possibly send your kid there, and usually said about the DCPS not a charter)[/b]. [/quote]

Equally bad and just more passive aggressive.  I've heard that kind of response for both DCPS and charters fwiw.  But you tend to hear it more from people outside of DC (either suburbs or non-DMV residents) than from DC public school parents.[/quote]
