Israel is not like the sea-to-shining-sea of a country like the U.S. is geographically. Israel also employs a lot of screening tactics that won't pass U.S. constitutional muster.  Israel faces a different border problem than the U.S.  Israel has a prime minister who may be indicted very soon and the U.S.....oh wait. [/quote]

Israel’s dream is to have a Jewish state from the river to the sea.

So it is kind of like “sea to shining sea”

Perhaps we need to change the constitution so we can incorporate the screening techniques Israel gets to have.

The border problems are similar in the grand scheme of things. Effectively blocking undesirables from entering.
