Eden and Nick: why is he such an ass to her? She’s a brainwashed child and she tries so hard at the beginning. It’s heartbreaking to watch her rejection and disillusionment. He couldn’t just fake it a little and be nicer to her? This goes against his character. Further, it’s now looking like she could be a threat, so why is he still being such an ass to her? How hard is it to say the place looks nice?

+1= I had the same thoughts on all of these points.  She is somehow involved in the loss of her godson.  
I think Nick is cool to Eden because he is a decent person and realizes that she's a child and wants to be as distant as he can.  Eden and the 20 year old guard seemed to hit it off a little.  I feel badly for Eden- poor thing.[/quote]
