Any list of top ten economics programs in the world has Chicago on it, unusually in the 5-7 range. Duke is somewhere in the mid 20s through mid 30s.

Chicago has had 9 members of the economics faculty get Nobels.  I am not an alum of either school and don’t have college age kids yet. But even I know your kid made a great call. [/quote]
