Vedic birth charts are very accurate and require your date, time of birth and place of birth. You get assigned a birth star(nakshatra) and a moon sign(rashi) based on the planetary alignment at the time of birth. Based on this the astrologer charts out predictions for your entire lifespan. One of the first things Hindu parents do when a child is born is get their birth chart created by a Vedic astrologer. Knowledge if  birth star and moon sign are essential during various religious ceremonies. [/quote]
