The posters here decrying scented candles as tacky are only familiar with the Target/supermarket brands of scented candles. If you spend some time in the fragrance section of Neiman's you will find plenty of non-tacky candles. Jo Malone makes great scents and those candles last a while. The scents are subtle and unique, they also don't smell manufactured. That said, they will cost you $50 or so per candle. Many people from different socioeconomic strata here so I wouldn't expect everyone to be familiar with that market.[/quote]
