People of any race using that word make a choice in doing so, and everyone who hears it knows that. i just hope they realize that whatever their race. To me, when it is said in a mixed race environment, it comes off as escalating and isolationist. Unless necessary, I do not interact with people acting in that mode. My AA friends teach their kids never to use the word, and my African friends are just appalled.
Disagree. They say cuss words as adults if they are enabled as kids. My brother for instance would call me bitch when he was a little kid my mom laughed it off because she didnt know english that well and thought he was saying somethng else well he still uses that and other cuss words freely. Parents have to teach their kids right from wrong. If they are saying cuss words at an early age then they wont respect women or others as adults.
