*you* are ok with that, but people on the fence may not be.  I understand she was referring to the truly deplorables (racists, and what not), but the media and her supporters are *only* going to pickup on the first few words, "Half of his supporters are a basket of deplorables"... and not the rest.

At this point, she needs to watch what she is saying.  She is not like Teflon Don where he seems to be able to say anything and it hardly affects him.  For goodness sake, he has stated that he admires Putin more than our current US leader.  Reagan, his hero, is probably turning over in his grave.  As much as Reagan may not have liked a liberal POTUS, he would not be ok with allying with Putin, who is a despot.[/quote]
+1  Saying that half the people who support Trump are "deplorable" reminds me of the same divisive rhetoric coming out of the Obama camp. He referred to Republicans as the "enemy".  The "we vs. them" mentality is being promoted from both sides of the aisle.[/quote]
