Unlike Yelp it admits that it does take "advertising/membership" money from businesses & it positively impacts the ratings BBB gives to businesses.[/quote] This. Not to get off-track, but the BBB is a joke as another PP said. It may have been good at one time - but no longer. I have contractor friends that had to join to make undeserved bad ratings go away. It's a shake-down outfit and does not exist to help the consumer.[/quote]
