I think Gilbane is a good choice and they do a bunch of work in this area and have local staff. I have friends and neighbors who are site managers. That being said, $6 million seems low for the work needed at St. Elizabeth's, right? I'm not a pro but that isn't a lot of money for a campus that size.[/quote]

This is just for putting in the roads and sidewalks as well as water and electrical infrastructure. Given the cost disparity, it is a no brainer to not go with Ft Myer. It does raise the question of how much Ft Myer and other preferred contractors were receiving for other projects and where that extra money ended up. [b]I notice Adrian Fenty doesn't work these days.
