Just because there are larger global problems does not mean you stop caring about smaller issues. It means that you care about multiple issues but you put the appropriate amount of concern into each. OP can care about her coffee order as long as she realizes that this is smaller and less important than dealing with ill family members. And coping with ill family members is less important than losing family members. And losing family members is less important than natural disasters that killed multiple people, which are less important than... If your point were valid then your friend should not be bitching about her family members because she should be worried about the large scale flooding that caused 13 deaths in Louisiana and further devastated the not fully recovered area. Thousands are homeless with nothing on their backs and complete loss of family fortunes. [/quote]
