I started out being super careful to wash the parts after every session and sterilizing every day. After a few weeks I became more lax and just relied on running them through the dishwasher. Then I got thrush and I was in a world of pain. I started sterilizing after every single use. It was super time consuming and I was kicking myself. It took a full month for the thrush to clear. Absolute hell.
I got thrush really early on with my first...and it took almost two months to fully clear. I washed and sterilized after every use. I had multiple sets of parts so I only had to wash once throughout the day and I used the sterilizer bag at work (or brought them home). For my second, I've started off this way since thrush was basically living hell for me.
