Honestly, he's right. It's not like you didn't know what you were getting when you either rented a condo or bought in the building. The place is more than 70 years old and has hundreds of tenants! You cannot expect the condo board, the building management, or your fellow tenants to bow to your whims or put a look on a pool therefore inconveniencing everyone else hoping to enjoy the rooftop amenities.

Keep your child off the roof, do not let them place in the laundry room and stop inconveniencing others, especially in a building that has seen better days and probably has owners that do not want to cough up 5-6 figures for a damned fence on the roof. If no one has fallen off in half a century you're not going to convince them that its an immediate priority now.  :roll:

Yeah, I was on OP's side until she posted her other thread and after I looked up her building. The fence is a huge/tall fence. I can't see anyone actually walking through the gate instead of staying in the pool area. [/quote]
