So selling pot is OK now? Just a youthful transgression? Oh.
Yes. It's just pot. It's everywhere.
I cannot believe the attitudes here. I live in Bethesda too and this is so clear. Tell the Board President. Don't gossip about it. Our Board acts very quickly. FWIW, we had a lifeguard too who WAS Previously a user, but went to rehab and got cleaned up. I had no issues with him life guarding, but maybe because I knew the story and spoke to him regularly and knew the pool knew as well. You can easily monitor this with drug tests. And for those who say NBD, do note that pot and alcohol at this age is much more likely to lead to addiction, brain chemistry changes, etc. And you don't just start with Molly or PCP or heroin - you start with pot and alcohol. Our middle school has an excellent outside speaker come in to do a week long course on drugs for 7th & 8th graders - parents meet with the instructor once at the end. He always says MOST kids do NOT drink or do drugs - you need to remember to tell your kids they are in the majority. Sorry to go off track a bit but this enabling attitude of some Bethesda neighbors is troubling.
