I actually kind of agree that there's no reason to air his pledge of allegiance to ISIS (the caliphate).  It's quite a reward for doing a bad thing, however sincere or insincere he was about it.  We all know he did,  and releasing a tape or transcript of it seems to further his ends and possibly encourage others to copy him.

We know he did it. We also know this administration insists on calling him a lone wolf, while the CIA and FBI is discovering otherwise. Seems to me there are things he said in that tape that Obama and Lynch do not want us to hear.
