You people are crazy, not just for spending money on a dog because you want a certain breed, but thinking its ok to ship dogs from one place to another....bonkers.
People with allergies have no choice but to go to a breeder and get a breed that they can tolerate. We have the most wonderful 12 year-old Portuguese Water Dog, which we paid $1800 for, because of my husband's allergies and she is worth every penny and more. I applaud people who can and do adopt from farms and shelters, but not every one has that option.
wrong! I have allergies too. I've had multiple dogs, all from rescues or shelters. You do know you can get the same dogs that you'd get from breeders at rescues, right?
+1 We have a poodle/schnauzer mix ("schnoodle") that doesn't trigger any of my DH's severe allergies. Our neighbors have a rescue golden retriever who is fabulous.
