If you move before or at the beginning of the school year, your child should attend their new local school, or go to private school if that doesn't suit you.

I honestly don't see why people have such a problem with this.  If you lived in Manhattan and in the middle of the school year your family moved to Hoboken, NJ, you wouldn't ask if your kid could keep attending a PS in NYC.  [/quote]
