OP expected MIL to cuddle with the dog and MIL did not want to. Not everyone wants to get that close to a dog. Instead of OP respecting it, she flips out when MIL move the dog away. I would have backed away from the dog as well. I hate dogs (then again, I would never have gone into the house). OP threw out her MIL rather than trying to make the best of a bad situation. Its about the child, not her.[/quote]
