But how can putting Muslims on a registry and conditioning entry to this country on religion possibly square with the constitution, let alone morality? We did this in WWII with Japanese citizens. Just about everyone agreed it was a terrible idea although the Supreme Court upheld it at the time. It's very unlikely they would uphold it now.

I am not a person who has ever attended a protest or vigil or anything like that -- the most I do politically is vote. But if this became reality, you can bet I'd be out there on the front lines. My Jewish ancestors endured this shit in Europe. It's disgusting to me that it could be suggested here by a serious political candidate. This alone would prevent me from ever supporting Trump (or Cruz, who refused to disavow this notion when Trump floated it).[/quote]
