Trust me if you try some of the higher quality wet foods kitty will try them. Also - better foods means better digestion. Less poop, no gas and vomiting. Cheap food has fillers and stuff that should not be in there that they just can't digest well and poop/vomit out. Fillers are just put in there to make more money for the manufactures. Wellness: http://www.wellnesspetfood.com/m/landing-cat.aspx Cats like the spots stew chicken dry. They don't like their wet good http://halopets.com They love all of this: Petco.com/Soulistic http://m.petco.com/soulistic
When I adopted the cat we started off with top of the line foods, including wet. He had stomach issues on the top of the line foods. Refused top of the line wet food, they were/are a waste of money. I'm going crazy trying to feed this cat because he will not eat anything but junky cat food. I can't figure out why the good stuff upsets his stomach and the cheap stuff he is fine with.
I was told by the VET that every time you change their food, they can get an upset stomach, so the trick is to mix in the new stuff gradually until its 100 the new stuff so they can acclimatize to it - and give the cat a couple of weeks, if its still causing problems by then you know its the wrong food, otherwise it should be ok.
