The Usborne books I actually like and have bought from FB parties before. One FB acquaintance (friend from HS) is constantly posting about something called Thrive (looks like a patch or something? Supposedly helps you lose weight and fill in nutrition gaps or something). It looks super sketchy.
+1. I had a friend from college who is now a military spouse always posting about thrive. I had to hide all of her posts they were so irritating. I also know a beach bodier who is not pushy but I find the constant posts about "health" irritating - they come off as so self-righteous saying it's about health when it's clear the point is to look sexy (it's called beachbody ffs) from drinking some shake product.
I think this is what bothers me the most about it. The posts about how the person changed their life, is grateful for someone showing them this world etc...and the daily posts about how they are on top of the world, don't need to drink coffee anymore, are such a better mother and wife etc... Like give me a break. I'm glad you feel like something is working for you but you don't get to shame everyone else acting like this is the only answer to every problem. Its a shake, containers for food and new dvds you buy each month. Its maddening.
