You may be big boned but your weight seems high for your height. I don't think you're too thin to attend. Not at all. You could probably stand to lose 30 pounds which is a lot.
You sound like someone who doesn't exercise. OP, how much of that 10lbs is fat? The more I run, the bigger my thighs get - and it's definitely muscle. I also gained about 5-10lbs since I started strength training. My clothes aren't tight, and I'm definitely leaner. Fitting back into your pre-training clothes is one thing, but don't get so hung up on the scale number.
You're right. 138 on 5'2 is simply because the op is athletic. Haha.
Lol omg haha. But how many half marathons have you run?
Only two. I gave up running years ago. If I walk I stay toned. for me it's all about what I put in my mouth. I have quite a few friends who run and need to lose weight.
Sounds like they'd be better off losing you.
I would be rolling on the floor laughing if I heard someone who "walks" to "stay toned" told an athletic person of any size to lose weight. I would bet anything that the PP is skinny fat and has a higher body fat percentage than her running friends.
I prefer a European lifestyle. I walk when running errands and would rather enjoy a glass of wine after work than running. I may be skinny fat, but I'm in shape and I'm fairly thin. I think it's working for me.
I would hate to live a life where my "exercise" consists of running errands. You'd rather drink than exercise, that's fine, but you're in no position to judge people who are more dedicated to fitness than you are.
