If a parent cares enough to ask the question--it means it is an important issue for them (even if it isn't for you). Why the need to lie? Assuming you are comfortable with your decision to have guns in your house, you should also feel comfortable telling the truth and letting the other parents decide what level of risk they are comfortable with for their child. If they say no--well their loss. But, there should be no reason to be dishonest about this issue. [/quote]
