You should learn how to do your own research. You will find that you won't be able to just use other people's experiences because every child and everyone's situation is different. My older child is in college, but I will need a different approach with the younger one, because they are so different. And that is within one family.[/quote]

Was this response unintentionally or deliberately rude?  A request for definitions of abbreviations being tossed around hardly warrants an admonition to learn to do your own research.  Or a claim that everyone's experience is different.  Or did you mean this as more generic advice to someone who hasn't started the process yet?[/quote]
