Matching socks? Who does this?
I do. My daughter does. Neither of us ever lose socks. Sometimes one sock gets a hole and then its buddy is lonely but we don't LOSE socks.
That is amazing that you don't lose them. I honestly don't know where they go. They're not under the bed. My kids don't take them off in public, but a good 8 single socks per person are leftover after Months of laundry.
Where they go: I'll suggest some and other people can chime in. Then maybe this "stupid thread" will be redeemed? 1) Look in your folded sheets and towels. One could be stuck there. Especially in the pocket of a fitted sheet. 2) Look in your underwear drawer. I have found tiny kid socks in with my underwear. 3) Back with the dirty laundry. Sometime when I pull out a fluffy bundle of clean laundry from the dryer, a sock goes flying into a dirty pile. I don't find it until that load.
