Current (and happy) Langley IB parent- given the magnitude of the Bloomingdale / Eckington / Edgewood baby boom and improving reputation of the school I would say it is not 100% that you get in as IB either initially or waitlist, but extremely good odds, as in 90%+.

This based on my vague recollection Langley had some, though not many, PK3 spots left for Round 2 last year.[/quote]

Thanks PP!  Glad to hear you are happy at Langley.  I know our list basically guarantees that without an awesome lottery number we will be at Langley and I'm ok with that, actually kind of excited to be part of an emerging neighborhood school.
