OP here again. What's the deal with the bottom grid that I keep seeing in these sinks online? Is it just to allow for maximum drainage while you have a sink full of dirty dishes?
Yes. It gets annoying after a while though. We have a 60/40 sink and only leave it in one side. Our kraus is amazing. I can't sing its praises enough. Prep sink is Franke and it scratches easier and isn't as nice.
I like our grid. It allows the water to flow and makes things easier to clean.
We like our grid too - I have a single sink with center drain, every week I take the grid and give it a good cleaning. My Kraus sink is easy to drain and clean, highly recommend!
We like the drain too! We installer dropped it in when he did the countertops and my husband and i both commented that we'd take it out asap and store it somewhere, but didn't do it right away, and then a day went by and other, and after a couple weeks both of us sheepishly admitted we are digging the grate. It allows you to put tons of stuff in your single bowl sink and not have it stewing in filth. And easy cleaning.
