We have one (ours is wavy not curly like the Obama's), and is the most cuddly dog I've ever had, doesn't shed, and is very friendly and good with the kids. They do require regular grooming, but I take ours to a groomer every 6-8 weeks and don't find it too much to manage. Definitely high energy, mine needs a good run every day at an off leash dog park with other dogs and multiple on leash walks.[/quote]
