We didn't do park hoppers, and didn't need it.  More than one park was way too exhausting.  We did not do a meal plan, because when I added it all up, it turned out not to save any money.  It's a lot of work to book all the meals anyway, so I suggest not making it any more complicated with a meal plan.  Plus, Wilderness Lodge has a good restaurant (it was my favorite, actually).
