To answer your question, it's not a physical age - it's a maturity issue. When I feel my kid TRULY grasps that tv is not real, and the ways relationships are portrayed on tv is NOT the way they are or should be in real life is probably when I'd let them watch. But it's not about age. My 9 yr old is more mature than a girl in my 12 yr old's grade. Don't go just by age alone. [/quote]
