Here's an aid for you, in case you've forgotten that DC and PG are the murder capitals of our region, another reason why Woodbridge is a preferable alternative for many.

79 homicides out of a 2014 population of 904, 430 amounts to .008735%.  I wouldn't exactly say that PG is the dangerous place you make it out to be.  If you care to analyze the graphic a little more, you would see that most of the homicides in PG are clustered around the DC line.  Bowie, Cheverly, University prk, Berwyn Heights, Mitchelville, Upper Marlboro,Greenbelt, Glen Dale, and a number of other cities around the county are more than safe.  But are people seriously comparing Woodbridge, population 53, 000 with an entire Md county.  The kind of comparison certainly typifies an "apples to oranges" comparison.  [/quote]

Exactly saying Bowie/Upper Marlboro, Laurel are in the same league as Capitol Heights or Suitland is completely laughable.  There are many areas of PG County that are very safe and see very little crime.  I live in PG and am surrounded by homes that cost anywhere from 500k to 700k, [b]people aren't paying that to live in the hood[/b]. [/quote]
