The most important I think to combat molluscum in order are:
- most importantly, getting on top of it quickly. We left our first children who caught molluscum for too long (on advice of doctors). Our other two we got on top of very quickly and limited the spread
- plus once caught, good hygiene is vital.

Things that worked for us:

apple cider vinegar 
Mollenol - on OTC
clove oil - very harsh

OTCs that didnt work:

Conzerol - seemed to stunt growth
Zymaderm - not much impact
Derm Allay - worst of all.
