You don't say where you live, but please make sure to do some test drives for these schools.  The commute could be a nightmare.  Also, what grade is this for?  If it's PK3/4 you might want to stick an Appletree towards the bottom as a safety.  There's no chance getting in OOB at some of these schools for ECE.  [/quote]

You live in CH but would be willing to commute to Shepherd? Maybe you commute that way, either way I'm a big fan of Shepherd and happy to see its getting love. Curious, why didn't you add ITS? It seems like a great school and located between MV and CMI from you.[/quote]

We're IB for Shepherd and it's great, but I agree-would not want to make that drive everyday, especially if it's with a 3 or 4yo.  My PKer is cranky enough just walking two blocks if it's after 5:30.[/quote]
