Wrong again. DC area lower class is up to 150k, middle class is 150k to about 500k. Upper middle is 500k - 2MM.
Wow, you really are disconnected from the real world.
New poster, but there was a national graphic along thsee lines that adjusted class by COL based on thr area. DC metro Area was very sku'd due to the coat of housing and general COL. Those numbers are not way off. Wish I could find that graphic.
The COL of your little neck of the woods has little to do with median income of an entire region. You do realize the DC metro Area is made up of all sorts of walk of life, all sorts of little neighborhoods, and all sorts of COL differences. Who do you think is doing all the low pay low skill service and labor jobs in the DC area? Are you paying your nanny 150K? Is the cashier at your local grocery store making 150k? Is guy picking up your garbage each week making 150k? Is the housekeeper working at the local hotel making 150k? Is the janitor cleaning your toilets at work making 150K? Is the personal care taker working in the local nursing home making 150k? Is the bugger flipper at your local fast food joint making 150K? ..... Yes, your completely and totally disconnected from what's going on around you.
