I don't think it will be an issue in elementary school, but could be an issue in MS and HS.  My cousin's kid has been pushed around and had racial epithets yelled at him in a predominantly AA HS because he inadvertently made eye contact. He has to walk on eggshells.  The administration was absolutely uninterested in doing anything about it.[/quote]
