you are astoundingly naive.  "getting schooled" is a lot more problematic now than 20 or 30 years ago. Exactly how many reports of guns and violence don't make it to MPD?  The last I checked, every suspension, whether violent or not, is electronically recorded in DCPS' student behavior tracker.  Also, when was the last time a DCPS student was shot during school?[/quote]

School incidents may well get to MPD but are not generally shared on the various public alerts/listservs that MPD uses to inform the public about crime reports and recent arrests.[/quote]
