Rick had to have known that there were other walkers in the woods and that the guy would be taken down, and he let it happen.  I think that is why Morgan gave him the side-eye after Rick finished him off.

I agree with the PP that there is something going on with Enid. They never said where she came from. However, it did seem that those two lone Wolves did not know Alexandria existed until they saw the pictures.  Maybe they killed her parents. Maybe that would explain the "easter egg" of her comic book being one with Wolves.
