80s girl here 42 now. Have three in each ear. Now I am WASPy and conservative and wear diamond studs in the extra two on each side. Just leave them out for formal/fancy schmancy dress up occasions.

I just have 1 set of holes because I just don't like the feeling of earrings so I only wear them as an accessory for maybe the work day or dinner, etc and take them out after, never wear studs or jewelry pieces really.

BUT the only person I can think of that has 2 -3 holes is maybe the most wasy (read: kind of frumpy, sorry!) dresser ever, she's my good pal and a CPA, right/ conservative leaning and all of it. So these threads make me laugh. She wears small diamond studs in all of them, the 1st holes the studs are slightly bigger[/quote]
