I'd get bored at the slow pace, read ahead and then have no idea where to read from when it came my turn to read - much laughing and embarrassment ensued since it looked like I wasn't paying attention. Terrible practice for those behind and ahead. Reading one-on-one to a teacher or aid sounds like a great idea.[/quote]
