Blake is one of the nicest guys on the tennis circuit. This officer was totally out of line. Was he targeting someone because of race? Possibly - but likely because he received a report about a black male. That does not justify how Blake was tackled and treated. I don’t know the details of the case, and I question if it was a race-targeted incident, but it is clearly a case of a police officer becoming too physical with a “suspect.” I am a strong defenders of police officers, but when you see something like this, it tarnishes the reputations of all police officers. Totally unnecessary. [/quote]
