No home daycares! I am a SAHM and I see the home daycare kids play at the same park my daughter plays at and the daycare providers look mean, tired, and cold. There are no smiles, nothing. The kids are all mixed in ages, playing on playground equipment meant for older kids, the little ones get trampled on, and no one cares! I saw a young toddler walk into the path of older kids swinging and get hit. The daycare providers took their time getting to the poor kid, walked slow as hell to pick the crying child up, took his shirt off, trying to calm him down, completely emotionless. Some of the kids don't wanna be there and are dragged to the park, literally. It's a sad scene. The older kids seem fine but then again, they are all over the place and no one is supervising them like they should because it's a huge public playground / park. All I know is I would never ever put my daughter in a home daycare, no way. So I understand where you're coming from on that. I know they are not all like that but what I see on a frequent basis at the playgrounf is enough for me to want to seek something better.
 Typical SAHM, think you're better than everyone else. You're making this shit up.
This is so sad and hopefully not true. I am a home daycare provider and treat the kids i take care with love and protectiveness as if they are my own. That said, I don't always end the week with so much energy - by the end of hour 50 + of one-on-six with other people's toddlers I am not at my best. Yes the kids are safe and loved always, but just like a mom of many kids I never get a break so it does take a toll. My advice to a parent looking at home daycare options is to choose one that is not open more than 10 hours a day, has a second adult present at least the majority of the time, has a ratio of not more than 4 kids to 1 adult, has closed days THAT YOU PAY F
