I heard from a friend that pimmit hills schools have 18-20 max.
Everything's better in Pimmit Hills! I hear they have panda bears frolicking on the playground!
If you review the MCA anaylsis on class sizes, Pimmit Hills (Westgate and Lemon Road) have the smallest class sizes in the McLean civic association area. It might have something to do with more resources to poorer and ESOL students. Seems like there are enough student of need but not too many that the test scores stay higher. Whereas, by school, the average class size for each McLean-area elementary school is: • 23.9 (Chesterbrook), • 25.8 (Churchill Road), • 24.7 (Colvin Run), • 23.5 (Haycock), • 25.3 (Kent Gardens), • 22.1 (Lemon Road), • 24.6 (Franklin Sherman), • 25.8 (Spring Hill), • 21.4 (Westgate); http://mcleancitizens.org/ey/MCA%20Class%20Size%20Resolution%20-%20final.pdf
I also believe that Westgate and Lemon Road don't have trailers where as all the other do but I am not 100% sure.
