[/quote] Really? Welcome to Washington DC, a place you clearly are only just beginning to look at schools for your child in. There is something called DCPS, which gives you a guaranteed path from PS-3 through 12th grade as long as you actually live in the District. Other than that, if you're only going for whatever you perceive "HRCS"s can give, you should go private. If you have a kid and you live in DC and you're only starting to figure this all out and you don't like what you're finding... and can't afford private... there's always Fairfax or MoCo. So there you go. I guess at least if you're really that concerned, you know you should start working on your Plans B, C and D right now. You may well need them.[/quote]
