What other state has these mandates?[/quote] OP here. i agree and disagree. disagree in the sense that the law appears to have no teeth. an applicant/employee can file a complaint with the DC govt, but there is no private cause of action, and the potential penalty is a fine of up to a few thousand dollars. i also think that a biglaw firm could somehow justify dinging a candidate for any blemish on his/her record.[/quote]
