OP here. Well, he says that he has never liked social media and past girlfriends would tag him in photos other people took at parties etc. He said that when he was in high school he was big on PDA (got kicked out of a starbucks this one time for some really heavy PDA) and since he is more private now and hates the idea that people know his personal life.[/quote]

At my age, if so one is posting a ton of lovey-dovey photos I'm wondering who are they trying to convince that the relationship is perfect?  Signal to the ex, I'm over you?  Telling all their friends " I got a man"?  Signal to your guy's other woman to back off?  I'm old school that when you are in a serious long term relationship post college you don't discuss everything with your friends about that person.  That it is personal between you and your significant other/ spouse. I would see no need to broadcast lots of photos.[/quote]
