But I've been carless here for 15 years and just can't bring myself to face the pain of owning a car and having to park it wherever I go. Such a much better lifestyle to walk, bus, metro everywhere. I've even commuted out of the city for 8 years. I'd much much much rather spend 60 mins reading than 45 minutes (which quickly becomes 2 hours) fighting traffic.[/quote] And what do you do when you kids have a doctor's appointment or a play date?
