I live in the Dulles area and have never ever heard of center daycares being full. I admit it happened once but it didn't phase me at all. I just found another year-round facility daycare. It's so easy here. They're always accepting 1 year olds, 2 year olds, etc. on a part time or full-time full day basis. My kids go to a nice daycare and it was easy getting in. And I see new facility daycares popping up all over the place, no joke.

Don't forget to check the social services website for daycare violations in VA daycares, if you go that route. And don't do home daycares if you don't feel good about it. You have a choice in childcare. We all do. I had the same reservations about home daycare vs center daycare and I've never looked back.
