His love life has definitely been bumpy, no doubt helped along with his former addiction problems, but it's amazing he is still functioning after all he has been through in life.  His father was murdered when he was 13.  His younger sister was brutally gang raped and murdered when she was 18 (and he was 20).  Five years later both of his half-brothers died unexpectedly. I mean, if they made a movie of his life, you'd never believe it.  [/quote]

WOW. This explains a lot. His personal life is a mess.  As a producer, there are few that can touch him.  I appreciate him because he gave black stories a chance on TV. [/quote]
